She knew that she possessed very unique story telling skills and she sought after those on purpose-driven journeys and illuminated their stories in such a way that it stirred up a profound confidence and motivation in all that came in contact with her work. Jonnita solidified this effort when she launched the online publication Yur-Storee Magazine, a platform dedicated to highlighting the stories of entrepreneurs. With nearly a decade of experience in the editorial field, Jonnita has generated digital content for numerous brands including, AT&T’s Inspired Mobility Campaign, Ebony magazine, The Praying Woman,  Because of Them We Can and more. For the last 3 years, Jonnita has functioned as a workshop facilitator, where she teaches life skills classes to at-risks students and non-violent ex-offenders. She also teaches entrepreneur workshops to high school students in partnership with many Chicago non-profit organizations.  While cultivating her own entrepreneurial journey and having consistent opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs, Jonnita felt a strong desire to prompt others to move on their God-given ideas. Out of that desire, The Visionary Conference was birthed.
